Real Time: Bill Maher rips Donald Trump over porn star affair

Bill Maher returned to HBO last night with the Season 16 premiere of Real Time, and Maher wasted no time in blasting Donald Trump in his new monologue.

Much to the president’s chagrin, Bill Maher is BACK on HBO!

Last night, Maher finally came back to the air with the premiere of Season 16. Coming back from vacation, Maher had a bit of catching up to do. Donald Trump has had a rough start to the year, and Maher just couldn’t help but laugh about it in his new monologue.

Maher gets started by talking about the looming government shutdown. Trump seems much more gung-ho about his wall after General Kelly said on TV that Trump’s broder wall promises were “uninformed.” Maher imagines Trump huffing and puffing, “I am not uninformed, and who is this John Kelly?!”

Using the government shutdown, Maher segues into his next joke, saying Trump claims that porn stars will still get their hush money. “Donald Trump. Only man ever, by the way, to pay a porn star to keep her mouth shut,” Maher goes on. And before Maher even gets further into this story, he clarifies that he’s not even going to use the word “allegedly” here. “They paid her 130,000 dollars. You don’t pay someone that kind of money if there isn’t something there,” Maher clarifies.

The Real Time host reveals the details of the affair, getting into the odd claims she’s making about Trump. Maher seems to especially get a kick out of the story about Trump chasing the porn star around the room in his tighty-whiteys. “And when Trump heard tighty-whiteys, he said, ‘What, you mean my voters?'” Maher cracks.
