The second season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones finally has an official release date set by Netflix, and it’s even sooner than you probably thought!

After mingling with some fellow crimefighters for the Netflix series The Defenders, Jessica Jones is ready to head back to her own solo series!

According to Deadline, Netflix has set the Season 2 premiere date of Marvel’s Jessica Jones for the spring of next year. Officially, the new episodes will be available on March 8, 2018. Those anticipating the new season can go ahead and mark that date down on the calendar now to plan ahead for a day of binge-watching. Season 2 will contain 13 all new episodes for your viewing pleasure.

Confirming the announcement is a teaser trailer for the new season. You can take a look at that below.

The video is only a minute long but it does give us a good look at the new season. Jessica is back to doing what she does best, looking incredibly badass doing so. Of course, Krysten Ritter is back in the titular role, and with her help Jessica Jones is currently one of the best TV superheroes of today.

It’s not clear as to whom Jessica’s next big adversary will be. After defeating her enemy Kilgrave before, Jessica has become rather feared in the community. But undoubtedly there will still be someone that will challenge her even more than Kilgrave was able to do before.
