Stephen Colbert rips Donald Trump Jr over his illegal emails

On last night’s Late Show, Stephen Colbert couldn’t help but laugh about the irony in Donald Trump Jr. being caught in a scandal with illegal emails.

Something tells me Hillary Clinton might be getting a bigger kick out of this than anybody!

Last night on The Late Show, Stephen Colbert brought up some interesting news which has come to light about Donald Trump, Jr. Currently under investigation for alleged collusion with Russia, Don Jr. was grilled about his meeting with a Russian lawyer, for which he swore vehemently that there was no follow-up. However, some “previously undisclosed” emails from the Trump campaign and the laywer after the meeting seem to disprove those claims.

“Wow, it seems like there is no end to the number of emails Don Jr. is hiding,” Colbert remarks. Asking for help, Colbert shows a clip of Donald Trump in 2016 asking for Russia to find the 30,000 emails (from Hillary Clinton). “Thank you, concerned citizen,” Colbert sarcastically quips, letting the irony sink in with the audience.

Colbert shows how one of the emails reveals how those at the meeting had discussed the DNC hack. That goes against other claims from Don Jr. and friends that the topic had not come at all at the meeting. And this is just the tip of the iceberg…
