Is Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on tonight, November 26th?

Will John Oliver be returning tonight to HBO with an all new episode of his Emmy winning series Last Week Tonight? We have all of the info right here.

So if you are reading this, you want to know if John Oliver will be coming back to HBO tonight. Lots of other shows are ending their current seasons, including Oliver’s HBO colleague Bill Maher on Real Time. Is Oliver’s current season of Last Week Tonight over with yet?

Unfortunately, for fans of the series, the answer is that no, Oliver will not be on tonight. He concluded his current season of the show with a scathing take down of Donald Trump, a full year into his presidency. Oliver reviewed everything Trump has accomplished (or not accomplished) in his presidency and let’s just say it was probably the most brutal take down of the president of the year.

HBO has renewed this series through 2020, however. That means that although we have to wait a little while for the show to return, we do know that it will be around for years to come. Oliver isn’t going anywhere anytime soon! And Maher on Real Time has also been renewed into 2020. It’s good to know that these funnymen will be offering their commentary for years, at least until the next election.
