David Cassidy’s heartbreaking last words revealed by daughter

David Cassidy’s daughter Katie Cassidy has revealed the heartbreaking final words spoken by The Partridge Family star, who recently passed away.

Katie Cassidy is not taking lightly the final words of her famous father.

Earlier this past week, musician and actor David Cassidy sadly passed away. He had been admitted to the hospital with organ failure, and though he held on for days, things looked grim. Ultimately, Cassidy lost his battle with his family surrounding in by his bedside.

Cassidy’s daughter Katie, an actress as well on the series Arrow, was of course with David. And Katie has revealed the final words spoken by her dad, which she will use as a reminder every day of her life. Courtesy of Variety, here’s Katie on David’s last words:

"“My father’s last words were ‘So much wasted time.’ This will be a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste another minute… Thank you.”"

Over the course of decades, Cassidy had built quite a fanbase for himself. After starring on The Partridge Family for many years, Cassidy moved on to have a successful career as a solo musician. He had been touring as recently as 2017, just a matter of months before his passing. For many who knew him the news comes as a huge shock.
