We’re coming close to the end of the year, which means Real Time with Bill Maher will also be ending its current season soon. So, is it over yet? Will there be a new episode tonight?

Well, I’ve got some good news and some bad news for you. Let’s start with the good news. Yes, there is in fact an all new episode tonight! Maher will be airing in his usual 10 PM ET timeslot on HBO this evening.

Now let’s get to the unfortunate news. Tonight is the season finale. That means that after this episode we won’t be seeing Maher until Real Time comes back in 2018. For what it’s worth, HBO has already renewed the series into 2020, but it’s still going to be a waiting period until we get more new episodes of the program.

Maher made sure to bring in a good assortment of guests for his season finale. Chelsea Handler, Carl Bernstein, Bill McKibben, Rebecca Traister, and Max Brooks are all joining him for his roundtable discussion. Handler is perhaps just as outspoken about Donald Trump if not more so than Maher, so we can only assume they are going to rip the president to shreds on tonight’s broadcast.
