Is Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on tonight, October 8th?

Will there be an all new episode of the Emmy winning series Last Week Tonight with John Oliver airing tonight on HBO? We have all of the info right here.

It’s Sunday, and that means we have one burning question that we know you want answered. Is there going to be a brand new episode of the show premiering tonight, for the evening of October 8th, 2017? Let’s get right to it!

Good news: the answer is yes, there is in fact a new episode! Season 4 of the series is still running strong and we still have a handful of episodes left to go. Obviously that’s fantastic news for those of us who just can’t quite seem to get enough Oliver.

The HBO funnyman is riding out the season after having won big at the 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards. Clearly people like what Oliver is doing which also plays into HBO picking up the show through 2020, meaning we’ll have the show on for at least a couple more years. If Bill Maher’s Real Time has lasted fifteen season thus far, let’s hope Oliver’s run on the network is just as grand.

No word yet on what topics Oliver will cover on the program. Due to recent events, gun control seems to be the hot button issue. We’ll ultimately see what Oliver decides to speak about when we tune in tonight.
