The Magic School Bus is BACK in an all new Netflix original animated series, and despite the differences, it’ll have you flashing back to your childhood.

Let’s all head to the bus stop, everyone… the Magic School Bus is back!

Beginning in the mid 1980s, “The Magic School Bus” books by Joana Cole and Bruce Degen quickly became a hit with kids. By the mid 90s, it had gotten its own animated TV show, and has been played in schools across the world. Whether you were a child or a parent during this time, there was no way to avoid The Magic School Bus.

Though the TV show concluded in 1997, the red-and-white streaming giant Netflix is now resurrecting it — 20 years later. Called The Magic School Bus Rides Again, it will be a fresh re-imagining of the popular educational kids show. Kate McKinnon of Saturday Night Live and Ghostbusters fame will be doing the voice of the lead character, Ms. Frizzle.

Official Synopsis:

This brings back memories of watching this show in school. In many ways it is awesome to see Netflix bringing that magical bus back for a new generation of kids.

The Magic School Bus Rides Again will start streaming on Netflix on Sep. 22.
