So, for every fan of Bill Maher, the question as of today (Friday!) is whether there will be a new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher premiering tonight. Let’s get right to it then, shall we?

Sorry to say that I’ve only been stalling because I’ve got bad news. The answer is NO, there isn’t a new episode of the show on tonight. Season 15 of the series is not over yet, and there are still many episodes left to go. But Maher is going to take the night off, just know that he’s still got plenty of content left to come.

Maher is returning as soon as next week, so don’t fret! His next episode is on Sep. 8. His guests have been announced as S. E. Cupp, Adam Gopnik, Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, and Ken Bone. Yes, that Ken Bone, the man in the red sweater who became an internet meme. Hopefully he will be wearing a red sweater for this appearance as well.

It seems like there is always so much turmoil going on that just taking one week off and let Maher be swamped with news to catch up on. We are sure he will have lots to say when he does return, though I will agree that these Friday nights are so much more barren when Maher isn’t on TV.
