‘Gotham’ Season 4 is coming sooner than expected
By Jeremy Dick
FOX is shaking up their broadcast television schedule, moving the Season 4 premiere of Gotham to a date sooner than previously announced.
Gotham needs Bruce Wayne… so he’s going to be back sooner than we all thought!
Previously, FOX had given Season 4 of the Batman origin series Gotham a premiere date of September 28, 2017. However, according to Deadline, a shakeup has resulted in the premiere being bumped up a week earlier to September 21. That makes the wait just that much less painful for those anticipating the return.
From the Deadline article:
"“Season 4 of Gotham will witness the emergence of the criminal landscape for which Gotham City is best known, with Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) at the forefront of the fight against the most depraved and unhinged villains. While Gotham City fights for normalcy, a new hero will rise, as Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) begins to assume responsibility for the city’s well-being.”"
Gotham has gotten pretty wild in the storylines by this point in the series. I’ll be honest and admit that I haven’t been a fan of all the things they’ve been doing lately. But there’s still lots for Batman fans like myself to appreciate, so I’ll be right there when the new episodes premiere. One thing I loved to see was David Mazouz finally kicking ass on the streets of Gotham, so let’s see more of that ASAP!

So, update those calendars, Gotham fans! The show will be returning to FOX on September 21, 2017 at 8 p.m. EST. Will you be returning to Gotham City when Season 4 officially premieres?
