Game of Thrones: Jaime Lannister facing real life legal battle

Jaime ‘The Kingslayer’ Lannister has conquered many foes on the HBO series Game of Thrones, but will his actor prevail in a real life legal battle?

Whether it’s in front of the cameras or behind them, actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau just can’t seem to escape the drama!

On the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, based on the popular novels from George R. R. Martin, Nikolaj plays the controversial character Jaime Lannister. He’s had many close calls on this show which loves to kill off main characters with regularity. But perhaps stepping into the courtroom in real life will be the toughest battle the Kingslayer has ever had to go through.

Celebrity watcher website TMZ is reporting that Nikolaj is gearing up for a legal battle with his former manager. The Kingslayer actor is claiming his ex manager, Jill Littman, manipulated him in order to fill her pockets with more of his money. He has filed legal documents accusing her of misleading him into signing contracts with her in 2011 and in 2014.

Littman is fighting back, however. She claims that Nikolaj is only suing her because he wanted out of his contract, and supposedly wants to get out of paying her commission until the end of Game of Thrones.

Ultimately, both sides will have to present their case to the judge and we’ll see what happens.
