Stephen Colbert compares Jeff Sessions to Keebler elf, eats him
By Jeremy Dick
Jeff Sessions dropped by The Late Show in the form of a Keebler elf cookie, only to wind up getting swallowed whole by Stephen Colbert.
There’s no way that cookie doesn’t taste extremely stale (and hateful)!
We can sit here and chat all day about how Attorney General Jeff Sessions is pretty much a terrible person. Clearly, all the man cares about is helping himself and his super-rich buddies, and seems to enjoy making life more miserable for everyone else.
But, all that aside, we can also giggle a bit at little Jeff’s appearance. It’s just far too hard to take him seriously knowing he sounds like Foghorn Leghorn and looks like a Keebler elf. And I’m not the only one to notice these similarities, as Stephen Colbert took the opportunity to bring “Jeff Sessions” onto The Late Show last night — as a Keebler elf cookie!
“I do declare I am positively flabbergasted by the amount of ho-mo-sexualizing I see in our country these dark days,” Colbert begins, in his best Sessions impression. He then takes a few other jabs at Sessions, such as his desire to take medical pot away. After having enough, Colbert rears back and mimes swallowing the cookie Jeff Sessions whole. If only it were that easy to get rid of that little weasel in real life.
