Better Call Saul officially renewed by AMC for Season 4
By Jeremy Dick
We’ll be seeing much more of Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman on TV, as AMC has officially renewed Better Call Saul for a fourth season.
If you know me, then you know I’m a Better Call Saul fan. So this news has me ecstatic!
When Season 3 of Saul ended recently, it (probably) killed off one of its major characters. I won’t reveal that name here, just in case you’re not caught up yet. But with no official news of a renewal, some fans were beginning to worry the series would end on this down note.
Well, the panic can now end. THR is confirming that AMC has renewed Better Call Saul for Season 4! That means that there’s much more to this story, which we will be continuing as soon as the show returns. Although, that’s apparently going to be sometime next year, so the wait is sure going to suck.
AMC president Charlie Collier also confirmed the renewal with this statement:
"“Supporting artists we respect and admire; delivering truly outstanding character development and nuanced dramatic twists and turns; continuing a legacy of bold creative choices; loving writing that is the best in the business: Truly, ‘S’all good, man’!”"
If you ask me, the show is on par with Breaking Bad, and is quickly on track to even surpass it. If you’re not watching it, you should be.
Next: Jonathan Frakes will direct an episode of Star Trek: Discovery
Better Call Saul will return in 2018 with ten all new episodes on AMC! We’ve got a while to wait, but in the meantime, just keep your eyes peeled on any updates!
