Seth Meyers mocks Donald Trump’s 36% approval rate
By Jeremy Dick
On yesterday’s Late Night monologue, Seth Meyers took aim at President Donald Trump and the embarrassing 36% approval rate he now holds.
Seth Meyers is taking more jabs at the president!
During the monologue for last night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, there wasn’t any time wasted addressing President Trump. Meyers quickly gets into the reports of the Trumpster having a 36% approval rating. That’s embarrassingly very low for a guy as self-absorbed as Trump, who carries the delusion that he’s much more popular than he actually is.
“Said Trump, ‘Out of how many?'” Meyers jokes, referring to the 36 number. “‘Because if it’s 38 or 39, that’s very good.” Sure, Meyers is only joking, but you can’t help but wonder if Trump is really thinking that way. In any case, the low numbers don’t seem to have affected his way of thinking.
Meyers moves on in the monologue to address some of Trump’s pals, like Sean Spicer and Michael Flynn. But he touches on several other random things as well, such as fidget spinners and the movie Batman and Robin. You’ll just have to watch it to see what all he has to say!

There’s a reason Trump has already said he will never come onto Seth’s show. There’s no way he could ever take this kind of brutal honesty about his “work.” In any case, you can continue to catch more of Seth Meyers every weeknight! Late Night airs at 12:35 p.m. EST on NBC.
