Bill Maher predicts Trump won’t last until 2020
By Jeremy Dick
On last night’s Real Time, host Bill Maher spoke about Donald Trump’s newest scandals, and is predicting there’s no way Trump will make it to 2020.
Though, to be honest, many of us have already made that same prediction.
We’ve only just surpassed the 100 day mark of Donald Trump’s presidency, and he might already be on his way out the door. On Real Time with Bill Maher last night on HBO, Maher talked about the James Comey controversy, and how recent developments spell bad news for Trump.
Comey is claiming to have kept records of his meetings with the president. This includes Trump allegedly pressuring Comey to “just let this go”, concerning the FBI’s Michael Flynn investigation. Maher jokes that when Vice President Mike Pence heard that, “he started scratching out ‘vice’ on his business cards.”
It’s like Trump is literally asking to be impeached, as Maher says on the show. “Even Monica Lewinsky is like, ‘Wow, you really blew it in the Oval Office,'” Maher jokes. The quip does bring up a good point. If Bill Clinton can face impeachment over a sexual affair, then certainly Trump can if these allegations of treason are proven true.
Of course, with the appointment of special counsel Bob Mueller to overlook the case, we’re closer to finding out the truth. Citing this, Maher predicts that not only will Trump not make it to the end of his first term in 2020 — he might not even last until the end of his current trip.

We’ll have to see what happens next in this story. But if Maher is correct, we could be days away from an impeachment.
