Jimmy Kimmel tests Guardians of the Galaxy cast on each other
By Jeremy Dick
With a second Guardians of the Galaxy film coming soon, the starring cast appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to test their knowledge about each other.
Comic book and superhero movies are certainly “in” right now, but one of the more popular ones is James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The film made tons of money and has been very well received by fans and critics alike. It’s no surprise that resulted in an official sequel, due out early next month.
To promote the upcoming film, the entire starring cast appeared on last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. This includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Kurt Russell, Michael Rooker, and Dave Bautista. While their chemistry together appears great even off-screen, Kimmel wanted to see how much they really know about each other.
To test this, Kimmel had the group play “Guess the Guardian.” It starts off pretty tame, such as asking who had been suspended from school for stink bombs. As the segment progresses, things get a little more personal, as even a question about losing virginity comes up. It’s all quite entertaining and you can watch the video for yourself below.
Also on the show, Chris Pratt spoke perhaps just a bit too much. He not only verifies that Sylvester Stallone appears in the film, but that James Gunn is returning to make a third movie. The studio may not have wanted that cat out of the bag just yet, but what are they going to do, fire him?
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 comes out in theaters on May 5, 2017.
