Daily Show compares Sean Spicer to overworked kindergarten teacher

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah took some time to pay tribute to Sean Spicer, who has looked more like a kindergarten teacher than a White House press secretary.

While the vast majority of members of President Donald Trump’s administration are considered unpopular, there might not be another staff member with a worse job than White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

Spicer is asked to stand in front of the press on a daily basis and defend any and all of Trump’s claims and policies, even on some of the more controversial claims. Unfortunately for Spicer, that has helped him become the butt of plenty of jokes on late night television.

On Wednesday night, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah came up with a pretty perfect comparison for Spicer’s press briefings. Trevor Noah compared Spicer to an overworked kindergarten teacher with how often he has to settle the press down.

To help show just how accurate that comparison was, The Daily Show put together some clips of Spicer and other clips of a class of kindergartners asking him questions. You can watch the segment in the YouTube video below.

There are very few people, if any, who would want to take over the White House press secretary job. Spicer continues to get blasted on an almost daily basis, and the jokes at his expense aren’t going to slow down any time soon.

As for The Daily Show, Noah has finally been able to find his groove as the replacement for Jon Stewart, and the ratings are the highest they’ve been since he took over. Noah can probably thank President Trump for some of those ratings.
