Trevor Noah trolls GOP over failed health care bill on Daily Show
By Tyler Brooke
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah took some time to troll President Donald Trump, the GOP and their failed healthcare bill on Monday night.
The news headlines this past weekend were completely dominated by President Donald Trump, his administration and the GOP. The big reason for that was the fact that Trump pulled the American Health Care Act before a vote could be made on the bill.
Not surprisingly, all of the late night talk shows had to talk about the failed health care bill on Monday night, including the Comedy Central series The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
During Monday’s episode, Trevor Noah described the failed health care bill as the “Playa-Hater Phenomenon”. Noah compared it to an R&B song claiming that someone else isn’t treating you right, and that the singer could treat you so much better. However, once finally given a chance, they don’t know what to do.
You can watch the whole segment from Monday night’s episode of The Daily Show in the YouTube video below.
The most interesting part of the segment was Noah talking about a cryptic tweet from President Trump urging his followers to watch Judge Jeanine on FOX News on Saturday night. The show opened up with Judge Jeanine calling for Speaker Paul Ryan to step down because of the failed health care bill, leading many to wonder whether or not Trump knew that’s what would happen.
