Sometimes having a sweet host works for the show and that’s what we’d get with Danai Gurira. But she’s not just sweet, she is also extremely funny and talented. Don’t believe me? Watch the above clip and listen to her talk about The Walking Dead cruise that some of the cast did with fans.

She goes from being an incredibly sweet woman talking about this event to having one of the funniest lines in a talk show interview. Plus she is so different than her character Michonne. A woman who can kill multiple walkers at once, Michonne has very few laughable moments.

But then there is Danai who is all smiles and joy when talking to hosts on television shows. And, to be honest, I think that contrast would be amazing for Saturday Night Live. Watching her go from a sweet woman to someone who could literally rip your head off would make for some wonderful sketches. They’d just have to know how to use her.

So get Danai Gurira on to host as soon as possible. Because like Melissa, she has the advantage of still being on the show to help her promote. And honestly, she’d just be amazing.
