Does SNL have a new episode tonight, March 4th?

Saturday Night Live is back this weekend with a brand new episode featuring Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer.

So far this year on SNL, we’ve seen some of the best bits the show has had to offer over recent seasons. Whether it be Alec Baldwin’s mint impression of Donald Trump or Melissa McCarthy’s excellent Sean Spicer, the political satire might not be any better. Not since the early 2000s has SNL been this good, and it’s only getting better.

After two weeks off, there is plenty to chew on for this week’s return episode. Octavia Spencer will be hosting the show with Father John Misty serving as musical guest. But it’s what the show will dig into and troll that will be the real fun to watch.

There’s the obvious — the Oscars Best Picture snafu, which will more than likely be addressed since an Oscar-nomianted actress this year is hosting the show. Then there’s the myriad of Trump jokes that can be made about everything ranging from his Joint Session speech to the Twitter beefs he’s gotten into with Arnold Schwarzenegger that forced the latter to quit Celebrity Apprentice.
