26. When Bee introduces us to Trump’s original hater.

Can we get three cheers for Michael Forbes, a farmer from Scotland who is known as Trump’s first hater, also the man who “invented the art of pissing off Trump.” He’s a keeper. This was even pre-presidency so clearly Forbes knows exactly what’s up.  Amy Hoggart sat down with him and I think it’s safe to say we could all learn a few things from him.

“The only regret I have is I didn’t knock him on his ass when I met him.”

Forbes just really loves pissing Trump off which makes all of America just really love Forbes, am I right? Any man with rosy cheeks and a jolly sweater who laughs at Trump’s body guards is a winner in my book!

Here’s the thing: Trump wanted to purchase Forbes’ land to build more of his golf course on. But Forbes wasn’t having it. Trump tried to get government officials to seize the land but that’s when friendly neighborhood pal and marine biologist Ewan Edwards stepped in. “I offered to purchase a small part of it,” Edwards tells Hoggart. “At that time, I was a researcher in Antarctica, so if they wanted to purchase it from me, they’ve have to come see me about it 9,000 miles away.”
