Real Time with Bill Maher live stream: Watch February 17th episode online

Real Time with Bill Maher is going to be a good one tonight, with Milo Yiannopoulos stopping by as well as an empty guest seat.

There really isn’t such a thing as a bad episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, but that might be especially true this weekend. Tonight’s show will feature the controversial alt-right figure Milo Yiannopoulos, an appearance that caused a major stir thanks to a guest dropping out in a show of protest.

Jeremy Scahill released a scathing statement — which was supposed to be positive, maybe — where he called out Maher for allowing Yiannopolous on the show. He also slammed Maher for his comments about Islam a year ago, which likely prompted Maher’s response ethering the journalist.

In addition to the drama that was created behind the scenes on the show, there is plenty of topics for the guests to dig into. Chief among those topics will be Donald Trump’s bizarre, rambling 77-minute press conference where he silenced a Jewish reporter for asking a “mean” question and proposing that a black journalist set up a meeting with black members of congress because they all must know each other.

There was also the firing of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, who was largely seen as being scapegoated over the whole Russian scandal stuff.

So to think that the only major thing that will be discussed is the slanted views of an alt-right mouthpiece and the drama that ensued is foolish. Last week’s show featured Tomi Lahren and things went off without a hitch. There’s nothing to suggest that more of the same won’t happen this time around.
