With two late night hosts together, of course Trump is going to be a prominent topic of discussion.

John Oliver hasn’t been on his show since November, and therefore hasn’t been able to take any wisecracks at Trump. With Oliver and Stephen Colbert together, their whole discussion is about the president and his time in office.

The two mostly talked about the negative things Trump has done since being in power. “It feels like his inauguration day was 114 years ago,” Oliver said.

With Oliver not being an American citizen, Colbert raised some questions about the probability of him being deported.

Colbert asked if there is any chance of Oliver being deported. “The crazy thing is, it’s probably not going to happen. But, there is a non-zero chance of it happening now,” Oliver said.

With the executive order in place Oliver said, “I am slightly concerned… Who knows what’s enough. Having a green card used to be enough.”

He has his green card as well as a family in America, which still doesn’t 100% guarantee his security.

Although Oliver is fairly comfortable, he said there are other people and families who aren’t being let into the country. “So it’s a little hard to swallow him telling people whether they should be a benefit to America or not,” he said.

Trump is doing a lot of things that are making people question his power. Oliver said, “I still think people are feeling viscerally repelled by things [Trump does].”
