Saturday Night Live has announced its host for the February 11th episode, and it will be actor Alec Baldwin featuring musical guest Ed Sheeran.

Season 42 of Saturday Night Live has been a solid one thanks to a talented cast along with a ton of great guests and cameos. One regular guest this season will finally be getting his opportunity to host on February 11th.

Actor Alec Baldwin will be the host of February 11th’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The NBC sketch comedy series has had Baldwin on multiple times this season to play president Donald Trump, and he has done a pretty fantastic job of impersonating the POTUS.

Now, Baldwin will have a chance to play a number of different characters for an entire episode of SNL. Of course, we can expect at least one sketch featuring Baldwin as Trump, with that sketch most likely coming in the cold open provided that Trump appears back in the news again for something ridiculous.

SNL made the announcement that Baldwin would be the host on February 11th on Twitter.

Along with Baldwin hosting the episode of SNL, Ed Sheeran will be the musical guests. Sheeran has become one of the biggest stars in the music industry, being nominated for multiple Grammys while winning two in 2017 for his hit single, “Thinking Out Loud”. Sheeran’s next album is expected to drop on March 3rd.

Baldwin has done a great job of impersonating the president over the past couple of months, and we can’t wait to see what he can deliver as a full-blown guest for SNL.
