Lewis Black returns to Daily Show to talk Donald Trump’s inauguration

Lewis Black returned to the Daily Show with Trevor Noah to talk about the performers who will and won’t be attending president elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
It’s always a treat whenever legendary comedian Lewis Black stops by the set of The Daily Show to go on a massive rant. Fortunately for fans of the comedian, we got another one of those rans this week.
During Tuesday night’s episode of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah brought on Black to do his classic “Back in Black” segment. During the monologue, Black talked about the performers who will and won’t be attending Trump’s presidential inauguration.
So far, the list of performers isn’t exactly littered with stars. In fact, one of the acts, Army’s oldest and most famous horse “Black Jack”, has actually been dead since 1976. Other acts involve an America’s Got Talent contestant (no, not a winner) and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Sounds like a real top-tier list of performances.

It’s not very often that we get to hear Black go on intense political rants anymore, but when he does, he tends to almost always deliver with some fantastic jokes. It’s not a surprise that Black isn’t the biggest fan of Trump, but it’s also not particularly hard to make fun of some of the acts they’ve struggled to book for this inauguration.

Hopefully this won’t be the last time that Black stops by The Daily Show in 2017, because he never fails to get a laugh when he’s there.
