30 things we need to see in The Walking Dead Season 7B

28. At least another mention of Oceanside
One of the first half of Season 7’s episodes fully focuses on Tara Chambler. Despite some of the flak the episode would receive, I found it very compelling. Tara’s a great character who can benefit from the extra screen time. And I thought having her exploring a never before seen area on the show made for great television.
When Tara fled Oceanside, she made a promise to the woman who let her go. Tara swore that she wouldn’t tell anyone else about the community. This meant everyone, including her own people in Alexandria. Oceanside has plenty of supplies, including valuable weaponry. But telling the others about it would violate that promise Tara had made before leaving.
As an uprising against the Saviors starts to form, the group is going to need more guns. This increases the pressure for Tara to spill the beans and tell Rick about Oceanside. So that leaves us two distinct possibilities moving forward, with Tara either keeping it a secret or exposing their existence to Rick.
I’m not particular about whether Tara will or will not reveal Oceanside’s location to the group. But I do want to see that difficult choice given to her, just to see what she does with it.
