The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon pit Fallon and Questlove against Michael Strahan and Bryce Dallas Howard in a classic game of Pyramid on Monday night.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is always coming up with games to play with its guests on a nightly basis. They brought another classic game show back during Monday night’s episode of the hit NBC late night talk show.

During Monday night’s episode, Fallon and The Tonight Show staff decided to bring back Pyramid, the classic game show where one person was given phrases and needed to describe them so that their teammate would be able to say the word. For this competition, Fallon was joined by Questlove with the two going head-to-head with legendary NFL player Michael Strahan and actress Bryce Dallas Howard.

The game of Pyramid got surprisingly intense between the two teams, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like Strahan was particularly adept at this kind of game, which is awkward consider he’s the host of the ABC reboot of Pyramid. You can watch the entire competition in the YouTube video below.

Strahan stopped by the set of The Tonight Show to talk about the upcoming NFL conference championship games, but also because he’s just a generally entertaining personality as we’ve seen with his work on FOX’s pregame broadcast and Good Morning America.

Meanwhile, Howard was on the show to help promote her upcoming film, Gold, which is set to premiere in theaters on January 27th. It might have been an add combination of celebrities, but it made for an entertaining game of Pyramid.
