Why Is It Scary: This fall sunder the disturbingly scary category, as the horror here is more quirky than it is outright terrifying. Still, David Lynch is a master of atmospheric horror and that’s never been more true than in his bizarro masterpiece. The show is all about a pair of young women trying to find their way in life while also battling external demons as hard as the internal ones. It’s a newer show to Netflix, but one that should catch on with anyone looking for a spooky, funny time.
