Casey Affleck doesn’t thank brother Ben Affleck in Golden Globes Speech

Ben Affleck stopped by the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night to vent a little bit after his brother Casey Affleck didn’t thank him during his Golden Globes speech.

Casey Affleck has become arguably as big of a movie star as his brother Ben lately, especially with the recent release of Manchester by the Sea. The movie was so successful that Affleck is in the discussion as a potential Oscar winner for his performance in the movie.

That Oscar buzz has hit an all-time high after Casey won the Golden Globe this weekend for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama). During his acceptance speech, Casey thanked a number of people from Matt Damon to the movie’s producers to even Amazon.

Although Casey thanked a lot of people in his acceptance speech, he happened to omit his own brother. Ben was pretty annoyed, but fortunately for him he got a few minutes to vent about the snub while on the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night. Ben not getting mentioned in his own brother’s acceptance speech stings enough as is, but Kimmel was even able to find a clip of Ben thanking Casey back when he won his first Oscar back in the day. Heck, even Eli Manning thanked his older brother Peyton for helping him as he went on to win the Super Bowl.

On the bright side for Ben, it was a great opportunity to make fun of his little brother by telling some embarrassing stories about the Golden Globe-winning actor.
