After a year filled with some incredible movies and television series, the 74th Golden Globe awards are finally here to honor the best on-screen projects from 2016.
The 2017 Golden Globes will be broadcast on NBC, and the network has chosen The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon to host this year’s awards ceremony. Fallon will be coming in to try and do a better job hosting than the likes of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Ricky Gervais.
There are plenty of great TV shows and movies that have been nominated for Golden Globes this year. Hacksaw Ridge and Manchester By the Sea were both nominated for Best Motion Picture (Drama), while shows like Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and Westworld were all nominated for Best Television Series (Drama).
Some of the biggest names nominated for Golden Globes include Amy Adams for her hole in Arrival, Casey Affleck in Manchester by the Sea and even Jonah Hill in War Dogs. This year’s awards ceremony is going to be littered with big-time celebrities.
This year’s Golden Globes will be taking place on Sunday, January 8th at 8 pm ET. If you’re not going to be near a TV on Sunday evening but still want to watch to awards ceremony, check out the live stream below.
