Jorge Garcia (Nebraska)

This stand-up comedian and actor’s name may not be instantly recognizable, but his face certainly is. Jorge Garcia has shown himself in various roles on television, but anyone who’s seen LOST will know him best from there. From 2004 to 2010, Garcia played Hugo Reyes on the popular TV series, better known by his nickname “Hurley”.

Garcia plays Hurley in such a likable way. Combined with his unique look, he stands out more than any other cast member on the show. This is impressive when you consider how long the show had been around, and how many other great actors appear in it. For many of the biggest fans of LOST, Hurley was the favorite character.

On the short-lived series Alcatraz, Garcia was back at it again in a new role. As with LOST, he stands out and was the highlight of the show. More recently, he can be seen as Jerry Ortega on Hawaii Five-0. He was also on the acclaimed ABC series Once Upon a Time.

But television isn’t the only place you can necessarily find Garcia. In the Netflix original movie The Ridiculous Six, Garcia plays a prominent character. A very likable guy and talented actor, Garcia brings joy to every role he takes on.
