21. Maher realizes even Sarah Palin’s biggest pundits are done with her

There’s no shortage of politicians who have embarrassed their own party at some point. This is certainly something that is bipartisan. Most politicians seem to say or do something horribly stupid, and leave it to the media to pounce on every single one of these gaffes.

Concerning the Republican party, there’s one member who seems to be the most humiliating representative of theirs. Well, other than Donald Trump, perhaps. I’m talking about Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska who rose to fame as John McCain’s running mate against Barack Obama and Joe Biden in 2008.

You can’t deny that Palin is a quack. She has subsequently proven how little she actually knows about politics, especially with how she stepped down as governor soon after. Palin enjoys being on TV more than actually doing anything political, and this gets her continuous TV spots to this day. And somehow, every time, she only humiliates both herself and the GOP.

On Real Time, Bill Maher shows how even the GOP is getting fed up with Palin. Many prominent Republicans claim to be done with her. But Maher still can’t help but laugh at how they can come to their senses on Palin, but still remain clueless on the important issues.
