The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere finally aired on AMC, putting an end to the mystery of Negan kills. Here are the top 5 most WTF moments from the episode.
It’s been half a year, but the moment has come. The new episode, “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be”, resolves the cliffhanger left at the end of Season 3. But with it comes heavy losses.
The show’s return is very bittersweet, full of plenty of shocking moments the zombie drama is known for. Let’s look at the top 5 most WTF moments, starting with…
5. Negan takes Rick for a ride in the RV
We don’t actually start the show directly after the Season 6 finale. The episode skips ahead to just after the big death, showing Rick’s reaction. Rick coldly tells Negan that he is going to kill him. So Negan determines he needs to teach the sheriff a lesson, so he drags him into the RV and drives off.
Negan winds up driving to a remote area where they’re surrounded by walkers. Negan tosses Rick’s ax up on the roof of the RV. He then orders Rick to go and fetch it, kicking him outside into the parade of zombies.
Of course, Rick fights his way to the top of the RV and retrieves the weapon. He begrudgingly gives it back to Negan, who then takes him back to where the other survivors are still kneeling.
