11. South Park reveals Kanye West to be a literal gay fish

If you look up “ego” in the dictionary, you just might see Kanye West’s picture. Sorry to use that dated saying, but the point certainly remains. Kanye has an ego the size of his bank account, and he just can’t figure out why anyone would ever talk bad about him.

This plays into the season 13 episode “Fishsticks”, which sees the hip hop legend as the butt of a new joke. It begins when Jimmy creates a joke based on how “fishsticks” and “fish dicks” sound similar when spoken aloud. If someone says they like fishsticks, the joke is that they must be “a gay fish”.

The joke gets massively popular and spreads throughout South Park. Eventually, it’s used on Kanye West who does not get the joke at all. He ends up chasing after the boys upon learning they created the joke, looking for revenge.

But by the time the episode ends, Kanye decides he “gets it” after all. But he misinterprets this as meaning that he literally is a gay fish. As a parody of his song “Heartless” changed to “Gay Fish” plays, West swims in the ocean, making out with random fish.
