22. Jen Kirkman

Jen Kirkman is undoubtedly one of the funniest ladies in the modern comedy scene. She routinely does stand-up comedy to entertain audiences, but can be seen all over television as well. Perhaps her most recognizable stints on TV were from regularly appearing as a round-table guest on Chelsea Lately.

Kirkman’s comedy skills go deeper than that. She released a hilarious book in 2013 called I Can Barely Take Care of Myself: Tales From a Happy Life Without Kids which became a New York Times bestseller. Kirkman has also released three comedy albums over the years, starting with the 2006 release Self Help up to the recently released I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine). There has been talk of giving Kirkman her own sitcom series called Jen, but so far it hasn’t materialized.

Kirkman is a regular on @Midnight, the Comedy Central comedy series featuring various comedians on every episode. All too often, Kirkman has proven to be one of the best featured comics on the show. On her podcast series I Seem Fun, Kirkman regularly entertains with very entertaining stories, and these could all play out just as well while hosting a late night television program like The Tonight Show.
