5. Pete Davidson

What’s most impressive about Pete Davidson is his very young age. Davidson is the first Saturday Night Live cast member to be born in the 90s, and currently the youngest performer on the show. Despite that, he has become a featured player on the series, and is one of the funniest of the current SNL cast.

Davidson first appeared on television in 2013 on the MTV series Failosophy. He would go on to appear on other shows like Guy Code and Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out. But his big break came fairly early on in his television career, as he officially joined the SNL cast in late 2014. Since then, he has become one of the most recognized performers on the show’s present cast.

The young comedian also showed how funny he was at the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Beiber, with many reviewers claiming he had the funniest segment of the program. His likability, comedic talent, and the energy and freshness brought with such a young age would all make for an excellent host of a program like The Tonight Show. Davidson even almost comes across as a younger version of Fallon, though dare I say the former is even funnier than the latter.
