29. Bob Saget

We all remember Bob Saget best for his roles as Danny Tanner on Full House and the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos. In recent years, however, his career has had somewhat of a resurgence based on his raunchy stand-up material. It turned out that the G-rated personalities he had shown on television were all just an act. Make no mistake, Bob Saget is certainly a comedian for adults.

Saget spent many years hosting AFHV, and became a game show host more recently with the short-lived 1 vs. 100. He was a natural in the role and the best part about the program. This hosting experience and decades spent on stage should translate well enough into doing well on a late night talk show.

The comedian has always been very entertaining when doing media appearances on various talk shows. It’s plausible he could be just as charismatic in the other chair. He could work comedy songs into the act, as he does on stage. And he could do those silly voices he did on AFHV with other videos.

Alright, so maybe a lot of people wouldn’t think this would be the most solid idea. But I, for one, think it would be highly amusing.
