15. Will Forte

Here we have another Saturday Night Live alum who is always wonderful to watch on the small screen. Will Forte was one of the best performers featured during his time on SNL, and he can now regularly be seen as the star of The Last Man on Earth. Having created the series and also serving as a writer, Forte stars on the FOX sitcom which earned him two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

On SNL, one of Forte’s most memorable characters was that of MacGruber. A spoof of MacGyver, MacGruber was a special operative in charge with defusing ticking time bombs, only to always become so distracted things would lead to disaster. The character became so popular that a feature film based on him would be released, which has since become a cult classic.

Forte also served as the showrunner for The Last Man on Earth, taking up so many of the duties involved with the series that he stays very busy. With such a strong work ethic and a natural knack for comedy, it would seem Forte could easily take on a gig like becoming the host of The Tonight Show. If The Last Man on Earth comes to an end at the same time Jimmy Fallon makes a surprise exit from his show, then they won’t need to look too hard for a good replacement.
