If you know who Paul F. Tompkins is, chances are you think he’s hilarious. The comedian has done a lot of work in comedy on television with appearances on shows like Mr. Show with Bob and David, Real Time with Bill Maher, Comedy Bang! Bang!, and @Midnight. He has done a lot of voiceover work as well, such as playing Mr. Peanutbutter on the Netflix series Bojack Horseman.

The comedy of Tompkins isn’t just limited to the world of television. Tompkins has also been very successful with his podcasts. His show The Pod F. Tompkast was once named by Rolling Stone as the best comedy podcast “of the moment”. He has also done over a hundred appearances on the Comedy Bang! Bang! podcast, killing it every single time

Tompkins is such a smart and talented comedian that it seems natural for him to become the host of a talk show. Jimmy Fallon would certainly be leaving some pretty big shoes to fill, but this is one performer who could naturally fit right in. As a possible host of The Tonight Show, Tompkins would make the show very funny in his own way and make every episode watchable.
