20. Aziz Ansari

We’ve come to another Parks and Recreation star to be considered as a possible replacement for Jimmy Fallon, but there’s good reason for it. Aziz Ansari played Tom on the popular sitcom, but he’s arguably even funnier when left to his own devices. As a stand-up comic, Ansari’s unique voice always makes for some very entertaining performances.

We’ve seen Ansari showing up in all kinds of feature films, such as I Love You, Man and Funny People, but his best work is probably on his own Netflix series. Called Master of None, Ansari writes and stars in the hilarious show, and it’s featured some of the very best material we’ve ever seen delivered by the pint-sized comedian. Ansari’s work on Master of None has been widely praised and has even earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

In 2010, Ansari hosted the MTV Movie Awards. Between that and his hefty experience doing stand-up, working live and in front of a big crowd has never deterred Ansari. The various comedy roles he’s taken have also proven him to be funny enough. His unique brand would definitely bring something different to the table if he were to ever replace Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
