College football season is finally back, and for fans and alumni of the University of Texas at Austin, there’s an entire channel dedicated to your school’s athletics, including the football team.

Expectations are as high as ever for the Texas Longhorns this season despite two straight years with losing records under head coach Charlie Strong. Although a starting quarterback has yet to be announced as of September 1st, all eyes are looking towards true freshman Shane Buechele to take over under center.

This year’s season for the Longhorns will kick off with a tough opponent in the No. 10 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Longhorns will also play tough teams like Oklahoma, California and TCU throughout the year.

Strong’s job could potentially be on the line after this season, so the Longhorns will need to step their game up this year.
