11. The official Donald Trump knock knock joke
While we can spend all day laughing at Donald Trump over his many, many gaffes and miscalculations, that’s not all we have to poke fun at. There are plenty of other jokes we can make about the Republican nominee that are funny, even the elementary school level ones.
One night on The Late Show, Stephen Colbert thought he’d kick off the night by talking about Donald Trump. This in itself is not unusual. Nearly every night, all late night comedians must bring up Trump, because chances are, he’s done something else stupid just earlier that day. But this time, Colbert wanted to dive into the subject by first telling a knock knock joke to his audience.
With the members of the crowd all responding together to his joke, the simple exchange went like this:
“Knock knock.”
“Who’s there?”
“Orange.”
“Orange who?”
“Speaking of Donald Trump…”
Sure, it’s easy and juvenile, but it doesn’t make it any less true. Trump’s fake spray tan is so horribly done that the guy literally looks like a walking cheese puff. If you were to mention “that orange guy on TV” to anybody, chances are they’ll first think of Trump.
