Bill Maher has been named one of the headliners of the festival, where Trevor Noah, Tracy Morgan and Eric Andre are also set to perform across the city.

Real Time host Bill Maher is set to headline the 13th annual New York Comedy Festival this November, along with Patton Oswalt and SNL alum Tracy Morgan. According to THR, the lineup of comics performing at more than 60 shows across New York City’s five boroughs also includes The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah and Eric Andre, host of the Adult Swim parody talk show The Eric Andre Show.

The festival, produced by Carolines on Broadway in association with Comedy Central, begins Thursday, November 3 with Oswalt performing at the Beacon Theatre, followed by Australian Tim Minchin. Chris D’Elia, Dane Cook and Noah will also be appearing at the venue between November 4-5.

WTF podcast host Marc Maron will be at Carnegie Hall Friday, November 4, while Tig Notaro and Morgan will be there on Saturday, November 5. Maher will the only comedian of the group to perform at The Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, November 4. Silicon Valley star TJ Miller will be doing stand-up that night nearby at Town Hall. Meanwhile, Andre will have a four-night stint at Carolines at Broadway between Nov. 3-6.

“New York City is the apex of comedy, from up and coming talent to the comedy elite, it is the place to perform,” said Comedy Central senior vp, talent and specials, Jonas Larsen. “The New York Comedy Festival is a celebration of the best in comedy and Comedy Central is proud to be a part of it again.”

The fest’s founder and Carolines owner Caroline Hirsch added:

"“We’re thrilled to have such an amazing group of talented comedians this year. The festival continues to present the performers at the forefront of comedy, while giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy these great artists in many of the city’s most iconic venues; and with the presidential election taking place the week after the festival, I’m sure there will be no shortage of hilarious commentary on all of the political happenings.”"

In a statement discussing his celebrated return to the November festival, Morgan expressed that he was thrilled to “get on stage at the legendary Carnegie Hall to perform in front of my family, my friends and my hometown fans.” He last performed at the NYCF in 2011. The 30 Rock actor returned to stand-up and hosted an episode of SNL last year, which earned him an Emmy nomination, after suffering a car accident in 2014 that left him in a coma.

The New York Comedy Festival lineup, which will feature more than 200 comedians, also includes Bridget Everett and Cameron Esposito. Additional performers will be announced in the fall. Visit nycomedyfestival.com to see the entire schedule and to purchase tickets starting August 15 at 10 a.m. ET.
