18. Hillary Clinton does her own Donald Trump impression
By the fall of 2015, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton had already become bitter enemies. Their common goal of becoming the next president of the United States of America has gotten them to bash each other every step of the way in their respective quests, one instance including when Trump blasted Clinton for using a teleprompter during speeches.
Jimmy Fallon asked Clinton about Trump’s criticism of her using a teleprompter, and she defended this by saying she was inspired by how successful President Obama has been using them over the course of his presidency. According to Clinton, it’s better to use them sometimes to effectively deliver what you want to say in the best way possible.
In contrast, Hillary dished out a quick impersonation of Trump himself, suggesting if she did things his way she wouldn’t need to use one. In her best Donald voice, Hillary said, “This a huge election, you never know might happen. Let’s get rid of the people who don’t agree with us, and only talk to the people that do!” As Clinton can come across as wooden sometimes in her political speeches, it was entertaining to see her do such a comical spoof of Trump.
