15. Steve Harvey
Steve Harvey has a very, very long history of hosting jobs across of a variety of platforms, starting in 1993 with his job as the permanent host for Showtime at the Apollo. Does anyone else remember that when he was in one of the greatest dance movies ever, You Got Served, as Mr. Rad? No? Well, I haven’t forgotten about that, Mr. Harvey.
He’s currently the radio host of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, as well as the host of his own talk show, aptly titled Steve Harvey, and in his spare time, he hosts the uber-popular game show, Family Feud.
In March 2016, he began hosting NBC’s Little Big Shots, a children’s talent show that he created and co-produces with Ellen DeGeneres. NBC renewed the show for a second season only a week later.
Despite his minor flub at the 2015 Miss America pageant, Steve Harvey is obviously a great host. His ongoing success makes him one of the leaders of the African-American community, which also has earned him more than 10 NAACP Awards.
As one of the Original Kings of Comedy, Harvey is considerably well-liked across the board, thus making him a great candidate for The Late Show. There’s something about his mustache that just pulls people in.
