Samantha Bee mocks Eric Trump’s CBS This Morning remarks

Samantha Bee trolls Eric Trump on Twitter over his workplace harassment comments by purposely misidentifying animals he’s shot.
The Twitter account belonging to TBS’ Full Frontal with Samantha Bee mocked Eric Trump’s recent remarks on CBS This Morning where he echoed his father’s comments in suggesting that his sister Ivanka would have switched careers or gone to another company if she was ever sexually harassed at work. It did so by posting a “trophy photo” of Donald Trump’s eldest sons posing with a slain animal. However, the post misidentified what animal it was, and later apologized for the mistake in the trolliest way possible.
Trump’s comments came in response to a question regarding former Fox News boss Roger Ailes’ alleged sexual harassment of several female employees over the years. The sentiment, which was seeing as victim blaming, quickly drew a negative reaction on social media from Gretchen Carlson, who is suing Ailes, as well as Megyn Kelly, who has feuded with Trump in the past, and simply tweeted, “Sigh.”
Bee also took to Twitter to express her outrage:
However, users soon pointed out that the animal in the picture was actually a leopard and not a cheetah, prompting the following tongue-in-cheek response from the show:
The poll in question showed that 89% of those surveyed chose “two dumbass rich pricks” when asked: “For those of you who completely missed the point of our joke, which animal do you feel is pictured above?” Bee and the Full Frontal staff went on to purposely mislabel several other animals killed by the Trump sons in four other photos, before mistaking Donald Trump, Jr. for his younger sister, Tiffany.
Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, which recently reached its highest-rated episode ever, airs Mondays at 10:30 p.m. on TBS. The cable network recently said that they are planning to add extra episodes in the lead-up to the presidential election, as well as more digital content, but would be sticking to the weekly format long term as requested by Bee.
