13. Stewart rips Trump over pizza eating habits

While Sarah Palin failed to become Vice President following John McCain’s election loss to Barack Obama in 2008, she wasn’t quite ready to let go of the newfound fame just yet. She would continue to do press tours for years, at one point stopping in New York to go out for a slice of pizza with Donald Trump. I guess this was to make them seem like they were just “normal” people like you and me.

Jon Stewart went in-depth on this meeting on The Daily Show, first grilling Trump for taking Palin to an awful pizza chain, with having so many better options available. Stewart was willing to let that go, deciding to focus on the content of the meeting itself— but something caught his eye. Stewart noticed how Trump was oddly stacking his slices of pizza and then eating it with a fork, and was so distracted by it he couldn’t focus on the actual meeting:

“Maybe all those years of making your hair do whatever it is that it does, you think you can go around layering any [bleeped] thing you wanna layer, and no one’s gonna say anything about it! But you cannot— you know something, I apologize. No disrespect, I apologize, let’s continue with the meeting… are you eating it with a fork? A [bleeped] FORK?!”
