17. Stewart summarizes Fox News following Obama interview

It has been a running joke for years how Fox News is heavily biased against liberals and Democrats and does their reporting as such, but it’s just as true as it is funny and sad. The network has taken every opportunity to undermine Barack Obama’s presidency by labeling every single thing he’s ever tried to do as something horrible.

With this in mind, perhaps that was why Obama wasn’t exactly very warm and receptive when he was interviewed by Bill O’Reilly just before Super Bowl XLVIII. O’Reilly grilled the president about many of the supposed “scandals” he had been involved in, only to get shut down by the commander in chief. Fox News would then slam the president for being so curt with his responses to these silly questions.

On The Daily Show, Jon Stewart backed up Obama, reiterating that it’s very true how Fox News literally manufactures stories for the sole purpose of making Obama look awful in the eyes of the public. In fact, that’s all they do, according to Stewart he provided this line:

“That is exactly what Fox does every day, with the exception of the one hour every two weeks where John Stossel exposes how homeless people are scamming the system.”
