28. Christina Aguilera nails musical impressions of her peers

Pop star Christina Aguilera may have hit her peak in popularity during the height of her musical career in the late 1990s, but in recent years she found new work in the spotlight as a coach on The Voice. She’s always been an excellent singer and it seemed only fitting when Jimmy Fallon invited her to play the Wheel of Musical Impressions on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

We knew Christina was a great singer when it came to her music, but who knew she was just as talented when it comes to impressions of her fellow pop stars? Aguilera kicked off the segment with a spot-on take on Cher singing a Folger’s commercial, and it was immediately apparent she had comedic talent. But the segment only got better.

Aguilera would follow up with Britney Spears singing “This Little Piggy”, and if you weren’t looking at the screen, you’d think it was Spears herself. Just as perfectly, she would cap off the piece with Shakira doing the Golden Girls theme song. Not everyone knew how funny and spot-on Aguilera’s impersonations would be, and she completely knocked it out of the park much to the surprise of those watching.
