15. Jesse and the Rippers reunite on Late Night

We’ve since seen the return of the classic sitcom Full House with a revival on Netflix, but that was still a pipe dream in 2013. But it was a sign of things to come when Jesse and the Rippers, the fictional band from the series, reunited for the first time in 20 years with a live performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Reprising his Jesse Katsopolis character, better known as simply Uncle Jesse to the viewers of the show, John Stamos put on a mullet wig and sang their classic tune “Forever” along with a medley of other songs, including Elvis Presley tunes and the Full House theme song. It was surreal to see after so many years past the final season of the series, but it was awesome at the same time.

The best part was the surprise at the end which saw Lori Loughlin come out as Rebecca Katsopolis, Jesse’s wife, and the two of them kissed in front of the audience. The two of them looked like they had hardly aged, and it felt like it was the early 90s all over again. Jesse and the Rippers was probably the last “band” we could ever expect to see appear on a late night show, but it was definitely amazing.
